Message After all of the controversy about electric fans i decided it could be done if it was done properly. I researched for about a month or so and found the best fan for my needs. I purchased the Flex-a-lite black magic electric fan 150 puller ([ http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=FLX%2D150 ])
This fan is capable of pulling 2,800CFM and has many desirable features such as adjustable thermostat 180-240degress, manual override switch, and a/c relay automatically turns the fan on when a/c is activated. Pros to having an electric fan are, added horsepower, added torque, improved gas mileage, faster warm up as well as cool down. The items I purchased along with the fan to insure success were:
Koyo radiator
Nismo thermostat
Scott’s lower radiator pipe along with upper hose
1 bottle of Red line water wetter

I then used the stock fan shroud and incorporated the electric fan to it using fiber glass resin. Now the fan will pull across the entire surface of the radiator allowing for much better cooling. The results were as I expected. PERFECT, actually better than perfect it cools to much at times. After adjusting the thermostat on the fan to turn on at 170degrees here are my results.

85 degrees Fahrenheit - outside temp
Idle for 20 straight min- (temp on techtom never got above 170)
Normal driving conditions 45 min test drive- (temp on techtom never got about 172)
“ with A/C full blast- (temp on techtom 174-176)
Harsh driving conditions- (temp “ 180-182)
“ with A/C full blast for about 30 min (temp 184-196)

54 degrees Fahrenheit - outside temp
Idle for 20 straight min- (temp on techtom never got above 170)
Normal driving conditions 45min test drive- (temp on techtom never got about 170)
“ with A/C full blast- (temp on techtom 170-174)
Harsh driving conditions- (temp “ 176-178)
“ with A/C full blast for about 30 min (temp 178-184)

For the stock temp gauge guys- it didn’t budge, needle stayed in the middle the whole time!

Overall I am very pleased with the setup and if anyone has any questions feel free to ask!
